The patients come to the Clinic by truck or tuk tuk, 30 at a time, for a morning session of dentistry and hygiene instruction. They come from the many institutions for orphans and vulnerable children in Phnom Penh.
For overseas dentists, you will find these children incredibly stoic and supportive of each other.
Speed is not a priority. Empathy and quality care are.
